Your fireplace needs a little home of its own. We'll fit a bespoke surround designed specifically for your home
Fireplace suites are available in a variety of materials, including natural marble, micro marble, limestone, cast iron inserts and solid / MDF wooden mantels. Depending on your choice of fire then your fireplace can be matched.
LIMESTONE SURROUNDS: We offer a comprehensive range of limestone fireplaces to suit almost any room from traditional to contemporary. Limestone is a beautiful natural material offering a fireplace that is truly unique with each having its own natural variation in shading and fossil markings. Limestone comes in a matte finish and it is advised that when the fireplace has fully dried after installation, that all surfaces are sealed with a suitable stone sealer.
NATURAL MARBLE: Like limestone, your surround will be unique in that veining and fossil marks will differ from one fireplace suite to another. The finish is polished.
MICRO MARBLE: Possessing all of the charm and beauty of natural marble, micro marble offers a guaranteed even surface and strength to withstand wear and tear in the home. Micro marble is a reconstituted mix of real marble pieces which are crushed and compacted together using resin to ensure a smooth surface finish. You may however still have some fossil markings in this marble.
WOOD MANTELS: Wooden fireplace mantels are available in solid oak and pine or wood veneer. These mantels can be matched up with either cast back panels or limestone/marble back panels & hearths. They can be used with either solid fuel, gas or electrical appliances. Wooden fireplaces are available in a wide range of styles to suit your interiors and come in different shades or a painted finish. Due to the nature of natural wood, it is common for surrounds to vary in colour because of timber shading and wood grains.
CAST IRON Cast iron fireplace suites are based on authentic reproduction Victorian fireplace. Although they are purely a decorative feature, they can be used with heating options including solid fuel kits for real fires and gas or electric fire inserts. Cast iron draws in moisture. Do not let water get anywhere near the cast iron or it will start to rust quickly. Remove any Rust: If there is any rust on the fireplace, use wire wool to clean it off.
